What standard do we measure against when looking for best practice?
Our best-practices report is combination of recommendations from the Center for Internet Security (CIS), UK and Australian National Cyber Security Centers and our own experience of performing 100’s of security assessments and remediations for MSPs over the last 5 years. We are also licensed for standards-based reporting against CIS Benchmark 4.0.0.
What level of onboarding support is available?
Inside Agent can be deployed via our easy-to-use self service portal, but we also provide supported onboarding options.
Can I rebrand the reports?
Can I run standalone one-time assessments?
What if someone doesn’t want to give me their global admin?
We totally understand that some clients may not want to give you Global Admin Access right away. We’ve given you a real simple way to handle this with our magic-link. With this link, the client can onboard themselves into your MSP instance of Inside Agent. Within minutes, you can generate a one-time report or talk them through any of the findings in the dashboard.
Where is my data stored?
All data for Inside Agent and your clients will be hosted in Microsoft Azure. We are using regional data centres to comply with data sovereignty. These include locations in the EU, North America, and South Africa. If you’re in a region that isn’t covered right now, just let us know!
Can I give my team different admin rights?
Yes when you add a team member you can give them different roles –
Administrator
Is able to manage Users, Alerts, Notifications and Billable elements
Standard User
Able to view all data, manage and add tenants to the platform.
Read Only
Recommended for users who need to view findings but not make any changes.
No Access
This will prevent team member from accessing the application.
Do I have to make a minimum commitment each month?
No minimum commitment here.
What aspects of 365 are covered?
We report and monitor Entra ID, Exchange, Intune, Microsoft Defender, SharePoint, Teams, Licensing Optimisation, User management (onboarding / offboarding).
My customers are mostly on business standard, will this tool help?
Whilst the platform is optimised to work best for tenants who are predominantly licensed with Business Premium (or higher). It still has lots of useful information in highlighting non-compliant areas which can be great for you to raise with your client and plan a way forward.
Are my Azure Subscriptions covered?
Not right now, we are 100% focussed on Microsoft 356 subscription-based services.
